Jennie Brant, Assistant Farm Manager
A freckle-faced girl from New York
Sought the roots of the food on her fork
Now she's wanderin' round
diggin down in the ground
slinging veg with a whole lotta torque.

Rori Weston, Full Season Intern
Rori was born and raised in Bentley, MI and studied hospitality and tourism management at Grand Valley State University. In 2010 Rori headed west, settling in Boulder, CO to enjoy the Rocky Mountains and work as a restaurant supervisor in the St. Julian Hotel. In Boulder Rori meshed two of her passions, food and community, by hosting weekly communal dinners for friends and strangers for an entire year. These dinners led to one particular friendship that eventually led her back to Michigan and specifically to Earthkeeper Farm. When she visited EKF it was love at first sight: for the 2012 season Rori will again join those two passions by being the working hands that grow healthy organic food for the community. When she is not in the fields Rori enjoys writing letters, reading, cooking, and just enjoying the simpler things life has to offer.
